Could be that the screen lock left the pointer and keyboard grabbed, which
would prevent any user interaction.

That seems suspicious to me:

`systemd-coredump[2004]: Process 1924 (light-locker) of user 1000 dumped core.`

But `light-locker` is not an xfce component.
