Now I am sure it is definitely not a Thunar bug (and this can be closed): There
is a tool 'gtk3-icon-browser' build by GTK3 itself. When I select 'Symbolic',
almost all icons are missing - navigation buttons particularly. Seems something
goes wrong with icon caching - see previous post. Need to check for a bug
there.
