setting XFSM_VERBOSE=1, it seems it tries to use a dbus method:

which i guess tries to fallback to polkit, instead of the new fallback code? or
im reading it wrong..

the polkit rule for the shutdown helper is installed in
/usr/local/share/polkit-1/actions/org.xfce.session.policy but i guess its not
active by default as not in /etc/polkit-1 ?
