            Bug ID: 14734
Summary: Strange error message when copying files with colon in
their name to an SMB share
    Classification: Xfce Core
           Product: Thunar
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC (x86_64)
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: philpem at philpem.me.uk
CC: benny at xfce.org, hjudt at xfce.org
  Target Milestone: 1.8.3

On Launchpad:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunar/+question/674670

Steps to reproduce:

- Export a reply to an email using e.g. Thunderbird. Use the default filename
e.g. "Re: A quick message.eml"
- Attempt to move this file to an SMB share using Thunar (file manager)

What happened:
- Error message "No such file or directory, do you want to skip it?" appears.

What I expected to happen:
- Operation to succeed, or an error message explaining that colons are not
allowed in filenames on SMB shares.
