            Bug ID: 14882
Summary: Enhancement request: Navigation after removing files
    Classification: Xfce Core
           Product: Thunar
           Version: 1.6.15
          Hardware: PC (x86_64)
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: jjvb.primus at gmx.de
CC: benny at xfce.org, hjudt at xfce.org
  Target Milestone: 1.8.3

Most annoying to me is the navigation, after I removed some files/folders.
Assume the following list, (indicating ** for the selected file/folder)

bobmrdgqcp
chlnmqiosq
dddccaqjrh
fuguhmydhj
hhpycabrlv
igsvwtiznf
iuycytvvcp
jhpfrzwzih **
jrnotzaqzr
nvwlxmdcnr
ojktfbhbni
qxdrnlojey
rkcipntcgb
ucwbezmcep
vdsfurkrky
weushgbymz
zcppxmqrsz

Now I delete the file using the [Delete] key. If I thereafter press the
[CursorUp] or [CursorDown] key, I always end up at the first file in the list.
This makes it hard to clean up a folder with many (maybe hundreds of) files.
I'd expected to have
[CursorDown] to select jrnotzaqzr
[CursorUp] to select iuycytvvcp

If there was multiple files selected before delete, I'd expect
[CursorDown] to select the next file after the last file removed
[CursorUp] to select the previous file before the first file removed
