It IS related, but quite different ...

Whereas https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=48151 is about copying only,
and everything happens in the main window,

my case concerns items copied OR moved from the main window to the tree.
In case of copying to "Dir" in the tree, I can assure you that "file1" and
"file2" look (!) like they still ARE selected - as will look (!) the
next-in-line in case of moving.

Which is exactly the bug that I meant ...
Because - if I then press Shift + Del, it's not the files that are sent to
oblivion, but "Dir"
That one did NOT ONLY LOOK selected - it was selected by RightClicking for
"paste into Folder"
