With 1.6.15-0ubuntu1, it at least shows the warning if I "dd if=/dev/zero
of=/tmp/a count=100 bs=1M && mkfs.vfat /tmp/a && mount -t vfat /tmp/a
/mnt/vfats -o uid=$USER,gid=$USER" and try copying a 200m file into it with
Thunar. I don't have the original usb stick around to test with.
