Patch to apply to git

Attached is a modified version of Hyperion's last patch that applies against
thunar git. I made a few corrections to get it to work. I also removed the
g_free of const gchar * that were added (as I understand it, you don't need to
free const gchar).

I'm sad to see that hidden files and png format have been removed. I think this
is the way to go.
