I did try lots of things, once again with Thunar 1.6.11 and the gtk3 version, I
even set a folder from /usr/lib as a bookmark in the side panel, since lib has
many folders and files, but no deal.
I only use thunar-archive-plugin, detailed list view and location selector as
toolbar style.
Long ago Thunar used to freeze on me while browsing /usr/lib and usr/bin, but
not anymore, probably it was "fixed" since I started to use SSD.
