            Bug ID: 13630
Summary: Filetype selection not kept when saving file
    Classification: Xfce Core
           Product: Thunar
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: pasi at shimmerproject.org
        QA Contact: nick at xfce.org
CC: benny at xfce.org, hjudt at xfce.org
  Target Milestone: Unspecified

To reproduce:
1) Open a file that doesn't have a file extension that let's Thunar
automatically guess the filetype; for example, open the file "script"
2) Select a filetype manually; for example, select Script/sh as "script" is a
bash script; the contents are correctly syntax highlighted
3) Save the file

What should happen:
The content stays syntax highlighted (with the user-selected filetype)

What happens:
The filetype option is reset and the file is not syntax highlighted any more
