            Bug ID: 12023
Summary: Misleading Side Pane Selection after Middle Click
    Classification: Xfce
           Product: Thunar
           Version: 1.6.10
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: core
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: slumbergod at outlook.com

This is a minor "papercut" but something that would be nice to address.

I have the Location Selector set to Pathbar Style.

I have the Side Pane visible and set to Shortcuts, with a number of bookmarks
under Places.

Now I snap the Thunar window to cover the right side of my display.

If I have navigated to a directory, for example Documents, the location shows
correctly in the Location bar at the top of the window.

Now I want to move some documents to another directory so I middle click on a
bookmark from the Side Pane.

A new window opens as expected to the chose location.

But in the original window a curious situation arises. The location bar shows
the correct directory but the side pane has now highlighted the location of the
new window. This means Thunar is effectively highlighting *two* different
locations for the content of the main pane.

The correct behaviour for the side pane should be:
- if there is a bookmark for the actual directory matching the Location bar it
should be highlighted;
- if the Location bar directory does not have a corresponding Side Pane
bookmark, nothing should be selected.
