            Bug ID: 12073
Summary: No check for parent directory path in path copied
                    during move operation
    Classification: Xfce
           Product: Thunar
           Version: 1.6.10
          Hardware: PC (x86_64)
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: core
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: xoind at hotmail.com

Currently, in 1.6.10, there is no check to make sure that a parent directory is
in the path being copied. This means that Thunar allows a parent directory to
be moved into a subdirectory (ie-/var/www/js can be moved into /var/www/js).
Two solutions to this problem occur to me: a) Check to make sure that the
parent directory isn't being moved into a subdirectory (each file would be
checked if directory, and if so, skipped with message why); b) unselect
directories when going into a parent directory so that the directory can't
unintentionally be selected.
