1: You can switch the tabs using Alt + (1..9)
2: As a workaround, you can do: Alt + F, D, D, E
You could also create a custom action calling a script which would call zenity
asking the file name and then "touch" it. I know, too kludgy :D
3: If you use the same named volume, in my case "PENDRIVE", you can create a
shortcut on the side pane(/run/media/<user>/PENDRIVE) and assign a accelerator
to it in Go -> PENDRIVE.
