            Bug ID: 11862
Summary: Duplicating folder with dot in name adds "(Copy 1)" at
                    wrong position
    Classification: Xfce
           Product: Thunar
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: core
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: alexandra.ardnaxela at gmx.de
        QA Contact: nick at xfce.org
CC: benny at xfce.org, hjudt at xfce.org

How to reproduce:
* Add a dot to the folder name, e.g. "Debian 7.8 Wheezy"
* Copy and paste this folder to the same location

Now the new created folder will be named "Debian 7(Copy 1).8 Wheezy"
(This bug does not apply to hidden folders which start with a dot.)

While this would be correct and a meaningful behaviour for files I think it's
misleading for folders.

In my opinion the correct result should be "Debian 7.8 Wheezy (Copy 1)".

Kind regards
