Use xkbmap to reset layout before unlock
xscreensaver doesn't have keyboard layout support by design.
As such, trying to guess which current keyboard layout is active when unlocking
the screen is a very annoying experience.
The following minor patch (Based on this [1] solution) simply switches the
current keyboard layout to US, without breaking the keyboard layout
configuration.
At least as far as I can test, this (very minor) patch works just fine on
multiple machines - and should not break anything - including non-English
passwords.
