          Priority: Medium
            Bug ID: 9258
CC: benny at xfce.org, nick at xfce.org
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
Summary: Must use xscreensaver to avoid /dev/watchdog error on
                    resume from suspend
        QA Contact: bjt23 at cornell.edu
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Xfce
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: nw68868 at gmail.com
          Hardware: PC (x86_64)
            Status: NEW
           Version: Unspecified
         Component: General
           Product: Xfce4-session

Using xubuntu 12.04. I wanted to stop using the screensaver and only use xfce
power manager for setting my screen black. After I disable screensaver. Every
time I resume from suspend i get a text screen with an error about how many
instances of /dev/watchdog can run at the same time. If I re-enable
xscreensaver the problem goes away.
