With the PPS I meant that I was not sure... It seem my thought was faster than
my fingers, sorry for the typo.

I didn't try on another DE, I will when I'll go back at home and install one
(this evening I think)

"xrandr -q" give me the following (without other screen connected, so I guess
it is useless):

Screen 0: minimum 320x200, current 1024 x 600, maximum 4096 x 4096
LVDS1 connected 1024x600+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 220mm x
129mm
   1024x600    60.0*+    65.0
   800x600    60.3    56.2
   640x480    59.9    
VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

I will restart the command at home, with the screen that give me the problem.
I will try at lunch time to have result with another, too, if it can help.
