Voilà. I have just sync'ed and upgraded all Xfce-related packages
(xfdesktop-4.7.5, xfce4-session-4.7.3, thunar-1.1.6, xfce4-appfinder-4.7.2,
xfwm4-4.7.4, xfce4-settings-4.7.7, xfce-utils-4.7.4, xfce4-panel-4.7.7,
libxfce4ui-4.7.6, exo-0.5.6, xfconf-4.7.5 and libxfce4util-4.7.5).

The problem still exists. Saving the current session still saves a session
cache file with more than one occurrence of xfwm4.
