Summary: "Could not look up internet address" when starting
                    XFCE
           Product: Xfce
           Version: 4.6.1
          Platform: PC (x86_64)
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Low
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
        ReportedBy: bugzilla at bikelab.org

Everytime I log in to XFCE via KDM I get the error message

"Could not look up internet address for my_hostname. This will prevent Xfce
from operating correctly. It may be possible to correct the problem by adding
my_hostname to the file /etc/hosts on your system."

When I click on continue I get to the Xfce-desktop and everything works normal.
This message appeared first when I startet my computer several months ago
without having a working internet connection. This was long before the update
to Xfce 4.6.1.
