Within /etc/xdg/xfce/xinitrc the Xft fallback option:

Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintmedium

has been removed, which leads to much smaller fonts if e.g. default dpi
settings 75x75 are used.
