I Installed Xubuntu (6.06 release candidate) one week ago.
I have a problem using the keyboard under xfce on my notebook: Acer TravelMate
4000 wlmi.
Processor Intel Pentium M 710 (1.4 GHz
Ram 512 Mb
Video Ati Mobility Radeon 9700.
under xfce I can't type correctly letters.
I must press more times buttons to enter a single letter, sometimes I press a
button and more than a single letter is visualized.
To test if the problem was xfce or other I made this tests:
Reconfigure xorg --> no changes (the keyboard is a p89, language it)
using terminal whitout starting xfce --> the keyboard works properly
Installed iceWM, logout from xfce, login in iceWM, the keyboard works properly
(actually I am posting from iceWM).
