This is going to be hard to explain, and I'm not sure if it's a bug with XFCE4,
X.org, Ubuntu, or something else...
I'm currently using Ubuntu 6.06 and XFCE 4.4 beta 2 (compiled myself).

Basically, sometimes when I bring my mouse to the corner or the sides of an
application that is maximized, the mouse sticks with the resizing icon, and
refuses to revert back to a normal mouse icon until I alt-tab back to make the
application the active window. I have no idea as to what is causing this, but
it seems to only happen with applications that are completely maximized.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a GUI application (such as Firefox), and maximize it.
2.Quickly bring your mouse to the corner or the side of the window, so the
mouse changes into the resize window icon (it seems to be reproduced a bit
easier with the corner).
3.Quickly click once while the mouse is a resize window icon, and bring the
mouse back into the regular application space, where the mouse is supposed to
be with a regular pointer.

Actual Results:
Basically, the mouse will remain as the resize window icon, and I can not click
on anything until I revert it back to a normal pointer by using the Alt-Tab
shortcut to bring a window in focus. This does not always work. In fact, it
happens only about... say, 5% or 10% of the time. However, a lot of times it
happens by accident, and it's extremely annoying to fix it every time.

Expected Results:
The mouse should have changed back into a regular pointer and function
normally.

This bug happens with just about every theme I use. I'm using the default
settings for everything, except my theme and wallpaper is different from the
default. If you want to know anything more, just tell me.

Also, I might as well mention that I have dual monitors. I generally encounter
this problem on the more busy monitor (which is the primary monitor). If you
want to see my X.org configuration, it has already been posted in the other bug
report I filed with XFCE 4.4 beta 1 (it has not changed at all since).

Thank you for reading this, and don't be angry if this problem should be posted
elsewhere. As far as I've seen, this problem only happens in XFCE, and no other
window manager.
