make it in xterm;

$ export BROWSER="galeon"
$ xmessage $BROWSER

you get galeon   OK

make alt+f2
xmessage $BROWSER

you get  $BROWSER  and it is not OK, it is a bug




when see /usr/bin/xfhelp4 

HELP_DIR="/usr/share/xfce4/doc/"

if [ ! x"$1" = x"" ]; then                           //heare  not is ="X"?
    HELP_FILE="$1"
else
    HELP_FILE="index.html"


system:
debian GNU/Linux testing
date instal xfce4: today
