Summary: Panel-Applet, Focus and wm related problem
Description:
An Example:
I start K3b which has one of these extremly nice (*g*) KDE-Panel-Icons
which is displayed in a Window (hmmm...hoefully support for them will be
finished in time :) But no matter what I do it doesn't get Focus. When I
click on one of the Buttons in the Title-Bar they get highlighted as
expected, but like the Window has Focus.
So the trick is to say not every Window you can click on has to have focus
or every window you can click on has to get focus.

With "panel icon" you mean a systray icon? Support for the KDE systray
protocol has been added recently, see
http://lunar-linux.org/pipermail/xfce4-dev/2004-January/009265.html

Dunno know what you mean by that, but not all apps are focusable (try
xclock)
As for the button showing as hilighted, yes, that's true. I don't see any
bug there.
