Summary: Cleaner Home Dir.
Description:
Xfce CVS makes tons of dir in the home dir.(4.0.6 only made ~/.xfce4)
.cache
.config
.local
.themes
.xfce4
Can you all throw your stuff in ~/.xfce4 or ~/.config/xfce4

.cache, .config, and .local are defined by the XDG directory structure
specs, which we're tentatively planning on supporting. probably not until
4.4 though, so xfce4-session and xfdesktop (menu cache) should probably get
moved back to ~/.xfce4. ~/.themes is a toolkit standard, so there's not
much we can do about that. as for ~/.local, i don't recall what's being
put in there (another XDG thing, IIRC).

I did not know you where tring to follow a standard with the new folder
setup.Somebody has to make the first step in using a standard to get other
to do the same.I knew about the ~/.config folder but the others I did not
know where apart of the same standard. If I remember right ~/.xfce4 goes
into the ~/.config folder.
I believe ~/.local is being made by some part of xfce.I deleted the folder
in my login terminal and then started xfce and it appeared in my home dir.
Batting 0/3 on the bug tracker :(
