Summary: Thinkpad Function Keys don't work in XFCE 4.0.4
Description:
I have a Thinkpad T40 which has some function keys for browsing (forward
and back) near the cursor keys which I used for switching desktops in
XFCE. Since the upgrade to XFCE 4.0.4, these stopped working.
They are also not detected by xev anymore. They still work flawlessly in
Gnome.

Nothing changed in this matter. As if xev doesn't return the keysym, then
you're missign a couple of xmodmap definitions.
I see no bug with xfce here.
