Sorry, I can't reproduce here, no critical and no crash when using
a custom action as you described.<br>
Run sudo make uninstall, make sure no leftover is on
<prefix>/lib/thunarx-3 (check both /usr and /usr/local),
pkill -i thunar, reinstall and try again.<br>
