<pre wrap="">Hey all, I've been a lurker here for a while so first I'd just like to
thank everyone for their work on this great app. Second, I'd like to
bitch and moan about it ;-D
Actually, my gripe is pretty small. In the Open Location... dialogue,
autocompletion works just fine. My issue is that Thunar jumps as far in
the path as it can assume is correct as the user is typing. This
behavior is fine if the user knows just where and when Thunar will
autocomplete the path, but many times (most for me) this causes
inconvenient behavior as I type something like "<i class="moz-txt-slash"><span
class="moz-txt-tag">/</span>usr/bin<span class="moz-txt-tag">/</span></i>..." on
autopilot, causing Thunar to leave me with "/usr/bin/in" in the location
field. I figure it would be an easy fix to simply highlight the
autocompleted text automatically, so that without some kind of
confirmation from the user (say, a tab press), continued typing in the
field will override the autocompletion. This would offer more
predictable behavior, IMO.
I'd be happy to contribute this fix, if everyone is busy. Thanks again
for all your work.
