[Thunar-dev] what about two plugins?

Hi. I'm new here. I use xfce a lot of time, and thunar as filemanager. I
like it, but there are two usefull features, what thunar can't do (IMHO) :
first feature is tabs support. I think, it's no so hard to implement. And
second - is samba share browsing. As for me, thunar isn't worst than
nautilus or konqueror, but it would be great to have samba support. Is it
possible to implement this?
I have some free time every day, and I can implement something of there, but
I didn't found any documentation about developing plugins for thunar. I have
some questions:
1. Can I develop plugin on another language than C? (I know C++);
2. Where can I find documentations/manuals about thunar developing?
