[Thunar-dev] show total directory sizes?

OK, thanx...

Does this method follow symlinks? A 'du -hs' on my home folder givers me 
1,4 GB but navigating to 'file system->/home' and selecting properties 
of 'harold' gives one million+ items, 300+ GB and still counting...
