I also think this would be cool as a plugin (later). On the other side,
I wouldn't want to be the one to implement a plugin interface allowing
other developers to change so much in the visual appearance of Thunar.

Anyway, I'm often in the sitation that I want to browse my files
visually (using Thunar, for example) but need to apply some terminal
commands on them from time to time. In this case it would be very handy
to be able to open a small embedded terminal at the bottom (setting the
starting point to the currently viewed folder) of the Thunar window.

Nevertheless, this should have very low priority.

BTW, I'm running Thunar from SVN here and I have to admit that it's a
great piece of software and it becomes better with every single commit.
Combined with xfce4-appfinder and the new panel, Xfce ships the feeling
of being well-integrated and smooth. All parts fit well together. I'm
absolutely excited about that.

Regards,
Jannis
