Uhm, I spoke up too early. It works only for readonly operations.
Whenever I try to write to the repository, I get the following error
message:

svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Can't create directory '/var/svn/xfce/db/transactions/18433-1.txn':
Permission denied

Auke sent a 'https-Account-change-password'-mail earlier, but I get 404
and connection refused for that site. Maybe somebody (Auke?) can shed
some light on this. I checked the latest mails to xfce4-dev, but I
couldn't find detailed information about the new server stuff there either.
