And if you don't care for the hassle of getting mono running properly,
there's also gtkam.  It's not as nice as f-spot, but it gets the job
done.  Personally, I have a script that I wrote that uses gphoto2
(cmdline) to download and rename all my photos according to the exif
date/time info, but that's just me.  I'm a CLI guy ^_^.
