The gtk filechooser actually uses both of the shortcuts. Ctrl+L gives
an empty location dialog, whereas / gives the dialog with the
character / already provided so you can just continue typing an
absolute path. Couldn't thunar do the same? This could ease the
transition from rox for many people while being consistent with gtk.
