BTW: Attached is a small patch, required to be able to start the thing
(not catching Python exception simply terminates that evil interpreter).

The main window looks nice on first sight. Tho I still have to see it
filled with actual content. :-)

doc/ is empty, and I'm too lazy to read Python code today. Is there
anything one can do currently to see more of the stuff in action?
