            Bug ID: 16584
Summary: [Feature Request] Ability to have a static/non-timer
                    updating genmon
    Classification: Panel Plugins
           Product: Xfce4-genmon-plugin
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: goodies-dev at xfce.org
          Reporter: vend18 at moeup.com
  Target Milestone: ---

For situations where a genmon command only needs to be updated under specific
circumstances or as the result of another program and not on a set timeframe,
the "xfce4-panel --plugin-event=genmon-X:refresh:bool:true" command is useful.
In this scenario, there is no need for a timer to be counting down to re-run
the command.

There is not currently an ability to disable the timer, but setting it to
86400.00 seconds is a workaround to make it update as rarely as possible. I
propose some kind of setting such as "Never" or similar for when a timer isn't
needed.
