            Bug ID: 14316
           Summary: frequency displayed incorrectly
    Classification: Panel Plugins
           Product: Xfce4-cpufreq-plugin
           Version: 1.1.3
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: hjudt at xfce.org
          Reporter: pauljohn at ku.edu
                CC: goodies-dev at xfce.org
  Target Milestone: ---

The cpu-freq applet always says "2.70 GHz", no matter what the CPU frequency
actually is.  Meanwhile,

    $ /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq
    $ cat scaling_cur_freq
    800025

the cpu is actually resting at the minimum.

It was not always this way. Sometime in 2017 the frequency monitor stopped
being a frequency monitor.

In cpufreq menu, I've changed to individual CPU. Also, if I change to "avg"
same result.
