            Bug ID: 14178
Summary: Change wind names to arrows
    Classification: Panel Plugins
           Product: Xfce4-weather-plugin
           Version: 0.8.10
          Hardware: PC (x86_64)
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: hjudt at xfce.org
          Reporter: ilia.malakhov at gmail.com
                CC: goodies-dev at xfce.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Is possible to change wind names to arrows? Or add arrow?
Reasons:
1. Too complicated. You read acronym (e.g. SW) than in mind translate it into
full name (e.g. south-west) than You have to remember where is west/east on a
map (usually no such problems with North/South).
2. Confusing. You must clearly know that direction of wind means "from where
wind come" (in weather and nautical) not "where wind go" (like e.g. in
aeronautics).
Arrows is obvious for everybody who use map once in life.

In any case thanks for this application - very usefull! By wind's direction I
could know if gas from nearest plant will coming today.
