Hello, 

With Xubuntu Trusty 14.04.5, kernel 3.13.0-108, and Xfce4-weather-plugin
0.8.5-1 (official version in Trusty), that's the message in the "Details"
window :

L’API Met.no LocationforecastLTS indique que cette version
        du service web est obsolète et le greffon doit être mis à jour
        pour utiliser une version plus récente, ou bien il cessera de
        fonctionner d’ici quelques mois.
        Veuillez signaler un bogue sur https://bugzilla.xfce.org si personne
        ne l’a encore fait.
