Just for clearness, the idea with the suggestion was to save space when seeing
the icon was not necessary (I reckon the mail program can be opened from the
apps menu in the less usual case that the user just wants to browse previous
mail). Also, not seeing the icon makes the user not pay attention
unnecessarily.
