Hi,

it should be possible to use weather icons from the user selected icon theme as
mentioned in the freedesktop icon naming spec: 

http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-naming-spec/icon-naming-spec-latest.html#names

there are probably a few missing icons but you could extend them like the kde
devs did:
