Depending on autoconf 2.69 - i'm not sure it's a good idea, it's pretty recent
and might not be present in all oses. Using it to generate the configure hell
in the release tarball - why not, if it doesnt break other configurations. With
autohell, you never know...

In the meantime, re-running autoconf as stated in the downstream bug is the way
to go if you cant live without features provided by the very latest..
