            Bug ID: 9807
Summary: Netload-plugin cannot handle predictable interface
                    names.
    Classification: Panel Plugins
           Product: Xfce4-netload-plugin
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC (x86_64)
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: General
          Assignee: frivoal at xfce.org
          Reporter: ingo_brunberg at web.de
        QA Contact: goodies-dev at xfce.org

The new udev/systemd 197 introduces the so called predictable network interface
names. The netload-plugin does not work with those names. The interface check
fails. One reason is that the code limits the maximum length of interface names
to 10 characters.
