It seems that there's some kind of regression in battery plugin with the
support for “deskbar” mode in 4.10 panel.

It seems that before, no matter what orientation the panel was in, the text was
horizontal. Now, I guess the text is horizontal when panel is horizontal or in
deskbar mode, and vertical when the panel is in vertical mode.

It doesn't seem to make much sense to have vertical text here, especially since
it was the case before. But, for people still using 4.8 panel, there's no way
to have the previous behavior back.
