I reverted 
+    gtk_label_set_width_chars(GTK_LABEL(global->monitor->rcv_label), 13);
and
+    gtk_label_set_width_chars(GTK_LABEL(global->monitor->snd_label), 13);
for myself. Maybe we can use width less than 13?
