Just a mention here but ROX-Filer can also mount file systems. Any mount points defined in the /etc/fstab file can be mounted including smb, nfs et.al. by simply clicking the mount point's icon.
It also seems to work quite well with xffm including the drag and drop features of both. Although I have only tested this a little bit.
Since xffm has hot keys, can they be redefined like other gtk2 apps (IE ROX-Filer)?
